New brass cases formed from Starline .50 AE for use in .500 Wyoming Express revolvers (in our process, a belt of the appropriate dimensions is swaged onto the parent case in steps). This brass can accept bullets up to the Bengal 510 grain WFNGC. Due to the slightly rebated rim, a .44 Magnum shell holder is appropriate for use with these cases. This brass features a large pistol pocket, which does not present an issue for the operating pressures of the .500 WE. Case length is approximately 1.3" after the swaging process. Freedom Arms load data may be used with these cases, with the caveat that powder charge weights should be adjusted in cases where a cartridge overall length difference results.
