Description

280 grain Long Flat Nose Gas Check +L sized to .430," .432," or .433." Meplat is .18" and nose length is .635." This projectile is designed to exploit the unusually long cylinder of the 2021 Colt Anaconda. This allows the user to either exceed standard performance without exceeding standard pressure or to match standard performance at reduced pressure. Performance with top-end loads is comparable to that of the .445 Supermag cartridge. Load data is available upon request.

While this projectile can be utilized in single shot firearms and Magnum Research BFRs chambered in the .444 Marlin cartridge, the projection of this design is too great for use in either lever action .444s or any .44 Magnum revolver besides the 2021 Colt Anaconda (neither the previous design from Colt nor any other .44 Magnum revolver on the market has a cylinder sufficiently long to utilize this bullet). However, the projectile can be utilized in standard firearms if .44 Russian cases are used. Some revolvers, such as the Magnum Research BFR, can utilize the projectile if .44 Special cases are used.

This bullet is principally intended for target shooting, not straight-line penetration in game.
